Brittany holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Illinois.
Brittany has spent the past six years working in the field. Previous experience includes working in community agencies with children, adolescents, adults and families with various issues. Brittany brings special experience in working with adolescents and children who are struggling with attachment, conflict and trauma. Additionally, Brittany specializes in trauma-informed care. Throughout her career, Brittany has learned how crucial it is to establish trust with her clients. She uses a nurturing, connecting, and empowering approach, coupled with good listening, empathy, and unconditional positive regard.
Brittany is skilled in numerous clinical orientations, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Trust Based Relational Interventions. She is an active member of the National Board of Certified Counselors, as well as the Illinois Counseling Association.
